hi guys.. i want to update my g73jh model notebook bios.. but there is a problem . i dowloaded bios file from asus support and try to
install with winflash utility and winflash says me this http://i.hizliresim.com/BZPkbM.png (http://hizliresim.com/BZPkbM) and i showed a computer repair shop this problem and they said me bios file must be 4mb but this is 2 mb ... so is there
anyone have this problem and what can i do for this..sorry for bad english by the way.

Hi, looks like you need to 'unzip'/extract the file first.

You need to find a program to do this in Win7, but in Windows 8, you can just right click the file and select 'extract' to unzip the file.

By the way don't mean to scare you too much but if the bios flash fails, your system will not work anymore, so you may only want to try it when you can take this chance, or reconsider if it's something you really want to do.

cl-Albert is correct. If you want to flash the BIOS, here is a good step by step guide (http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/g73jh-bios-update-step-by-step-newbie-tutorial.486047/) using Easy Flash, which is usually considered safer than the Windows tool. CAUTION! Be sure your flash drive is formatted in FAT 32 NOT NTFS!!!!! BTW, I think you can extract the zip file from Windows 7 with a right click too.
