I know the CPU in the G20 is a H97 Chip set and a LGA 1150 Socket
So if I pull the CPU out will it fit any LGA 1150 Socket Motherboard it dose it also have the have the H97 Chip set ?

Reason I'm asking is I want to pull everything out Of the G20 case and put it into a SLI board.

Just saw this. Its a standard Socket 1150 CPU - it does *not* matter what other motherboard you are using - if it has a 1150 socket on it and the BIOS supports this CPU, then it would work fine. There's nothing "special" about the i7 4790 in this G20AJ.

Poke around on Newegg - there are other Asus motherboards that use socket 1150, support this same 4th gen i7 *and* even also have the 2 SODIMM laptop-style memory slots. (like the Asus H81T and others) If you wanna use *all* the same stuff including memory that will be the limiting factor as far as new motherboard goes. I have no idea on the power supply part and whether you'll be able to reuse what came with the Asus.
