I see people here that doing this color calibration is better than using the ASUS Splendid. The color profiles posted in the other thread are for the Chi Mei screen

can someone help me out with some color calibration profiles for the LG Screen? and how to load them anyway? never done this before

ahh I found the color profiles in the Splendid Folder, but how to properly load them there are many options in the color management

also, why would me loading them manually be any different than loading them through Splendid?

pokerface, strangely, Splendid doesn't seem to have a mode that only uses the flat correction of the ICC profile, it only has options with additional filters that skew the color correction.

You can follow through on reading those links in those postings you read, to figure out how to do the installation of the ICC profile included with Splendid.

Thank you HMSCOTT

So I loaded the profile then did the color calibration and ClearType Calibration. It is better now although nothing mind blowingly different than my previous settings (default)

I've been playing around with the color calibration and can't seem to get it right. I can get it to look the way I want it to but if I print photos, they look different than they look on my screen. In doing some research, it seems that the best solution to matching print colors with colors that I see on my screen is to use hardware to do the calibration. I'm planning to purchase a device called Spyder4elite which is used by photographers to analyze the colors that are being displayed on a computer screen and it automatically makes the necessary adjustments to the color profile so that prints match what I see on my screen.

This may not be the ideal solution for gaming as gamers aren't always interested in having their photo's printed. As for me, I use my laptop to edit photos a lot so I'm opting to let the hardware calibrate my monitor and hopefully this will produce good results.

Can you show the two other tabs in the image? I need to know if my LG monitor in g751jy is set up properly. Also did u unninstalled splendid completely? Have you only kept the profile? Finally, it's just to load one profile right? Because u have two download links.

In the first tab do you have any default profile added? My doesn't have one.Is this correct?
