Hey guys!

I just ordered an SSD for my G751JT, and i really want to just put Windows 7 on it since i absolutely hate Windows 8. People here with the same model as me and are running Windows 7, have you had any problems? Was it difficult to track down the drivers for all the components? Would anybody be nice enough to point me in the right direction to tracking down the drivers, please?

http://classicshell.net/ your better off installing windows shell and keeping W8 and its speed . u will have problems finding W7 drivers, asus only supports W8

Just use Shell. I use it and its wonderful. Not to mention windows 8 is more optimized than 7 in general.

Don't waste your time. Just like the G750JX that I had before, this G751JY that I have has a serious issue with the keyboard on Windows 7, the keys will type randomly and miss keystrokes all the time, I tried installing the Keyboard Device Filter but that didn't help at all.

This laptop was not made for Windows 7

Save yourself a lot of aggravation and download Classic Shell (http://www.classicshell.net/), it'll make window 8.1 just like 7 or XP if you like but on steroids and it free
