Tests complete... here my resume :

It really was as I already suspected :

"This is normal and I noticed only now because I have nothing else to decry ? haha
this has always been like this?"

True.

But this effect is a little less and maybe different on older LCD Monitores as on new LED Monitores...

On the Asus ROG SWIFT its in the Citys strong, really strong vertical motion blur.... also not only vertical. ( FPS around 60 )

On the Asus ROG SWIFT its outside of the Citys, one of the fewest motion blur, also vertical that its apparently possible at the present state of technology. BUT not always and all over outside. ( Frames around 115 - 150 ) the same applies in Dungeons Raids and Battlegrounds

I compared directly : Asus ROG SWIFT, a new Samsung Modell ( 60hz ) PLS, and old LCD and an PLASMA TV.

The best Results in vertical motion blur in city : old LCD > PLASMA > Asus Rog Swift > Samsung PLS

best Results in vertical motion blur outside : ASUS ROG > PLASMA > LCD > Samsung PLS

best Results in vertical motion blur outside on imperfect locations ( but always better then citys ) : PLASMA > Asus ROG > LCD > Samsung PLS

I'm not experienced the weird vertical motion blur. But, as far as unsharpness goes ...

Double check that your game is set to native resolution of the monitor at 2560x1440. There have been a few games of mine, where I noticed it looked a bit off for some reason. When I checked the game's resolution, it was set to 3620x2036. That seemed to be the game's default resolution, for my display.
