The Backpack that comes with the G74 is nice, looking for something with a bit more room for other devices so I would like to check out bags, cases, and backpacks know to fit the G74SX. Post your links here please.

Thanks

I got this one:

You can smuggle small countries in it. There's apparently some question about whether it's too big to qualify as your personal item for carrying onto planes.

Do you know if the G73 would fit in that backpack also? :)

I bought this backpack at my local CompUSA for my G74SX. I'm here to tell you, this thing can smuggle small countries in it.

At one point, I had 3 laptops (including the G74 and two smaller Dells), school books, power supplies, Wacom tablet, and other accessories, and there was still room for more. Can't confirm about the travel issue yet though, but I'll report on that when I have a flight next month.

Other than the travel concern, I can't say enough good about this product and fully recommend it.

The G73 is slightly smaller than the G74, so I would say if it fits the G74, it should fit the G73. ;)

Ok, thank you :D
Then I'm going to buy that one hehe :P

I've searched on google to see if anyone had made a recommend about that backpack with G73, but when the results of the search came up it only showed the G73 backpack -.-

Jassper is right, you'll have no problem getting the G73 into this backpack.

Along with your moped, your girlfriend, your Great Dane, and a couple of neighborhood children. They can keep your laptop company while you're carrying it.

Hi people!

I have just bought a G74SX-91085v (euro version of the G74SX, 17.3", 3D display).

I am struggling to find a backpack suitable for this notebook.

The dimensions of the notebook are 16.6x12.6x2.5 inches (420 x 325 x 62.0 mm).

Any ideas?

First I found a Targus TCB001EU but the customer service emailed me saying that my laptop will not fit.

Thanks!

That bag fits your G74? The stated dimensions suggest that it won't.
Pocket: 19.2"x11.4"x1.8"
Laptop: 16.6"x12.8"x2.3"

I believe you, just wondering why the reported dim are smaller. shrug

Anyways I guess it's not important as I cannot locate that bag on the US ASUS site, so not sure it's available in the US
