View Full Version : Windows 8.1 restart issues

I am running an X99-A with Windows 8.1.
Whenever I completely shutdown the machine, I always have problems starting it back up again:
- On the first start, I am stuck before before Windows is booting at all (looks as if no boot device was found)
- After another restart, Windows is found, but not loading properly (the Windows logo is displayed without loading circle)
- After yet another restart, Windows is loading in repair mode and loading correctly afterwards

It's not a big deal since it does not occur after starting from Hibernate mode or when restrating from Windows directly, but I wonder if anyone else has encountered this issue yet.
Do you think a fresh WIndos installation would help (I upgraded this installation from another motherboard)?
