I bought the Asus ROG G750JX 17.3" Full HD Gaming Notebook a week back. The performance is good, But I experience a RADIATION problem. I cannot sit more than 1-2 hours in front of it. It makes an overall-sick feeling after that.

(I am using other 2 laptops as part of work, but no issues using for long hours)

Tried the following:
- lowered brightness
- changed wireless mouse
- turned off wifi

Still the problem persists!

Is it due to the large 17" monitor. The monitor is shown as "PnP" monitor.

What should be the solution?
- an anti-radiation film?
- an anti-radiation desk board?

Please let me know. I cannot continue in this manner.

Perhaps you (and your laptop) should report to a doctor?

Why should I? I am using 2 other laptops & have no problem.

It's the screen. Use Asus Splendid and change the colors around. The TrueHD screen is too white so I put an orange tint.

Do not worry how deep it is. Your eyes will eventually judge the 'light orange' as white, and colors will look normal perceptively until you of course put two laptops either side and see them both constantly.

You never mentioned where you feel sick.

Also.. your phone would do more damage in terms of 'radiation'. ;x

I highly recommend f.lux. It's patent-pending free software designed to combat the modern screen problems by automatically adjusting white/blue/red levels according to the time of day.
