What's that all hype about RAID 0. It wont't give you better performance. Only seq read write speed is increased with EAID 0 which is not most impprtant if you're not moving/copying large SINGLE files such as bluray movies. Random read write does not get any better of RAID 0 so IMO it's not worth to risk your data over seq speed. Get fast and reliable single sata3 ssd. And answering your question this laptop does not have 2 sata3 ports so RAID 0 would be inefficient since it will be running at the speed of sata2.

If its speed you want get you a M2 SSD Samsung XP491 (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_14?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=samsung+ssd+m2&sprefix=samsung+SSD+M2%2Caps%2C172&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Asamsung+ssd+m2)PCIe about twice as fast as a standard SSD If you can wait a little bit Samsung is coming out with a XP591 (http://www.storagereview.com/samsung_sm951_m2_pcie_ssd_released)that will be even quite a bit faster the the 491. Use you Port 1 for 1 TB or bigger storage drive.
