View Full Version : Any good suggestions for a G751 backpack, carry case, or shoulder mounted man-purse?

Hey guys!

What do you use or recommend for a backpack or other type of bag for the ASUS G751 (a pink european man-purse would be MUCH PREFERRED! Haha, JK).

I have a huge backpack for up to 17" laptops, but it doesn't quite fit the G751 unfortunately. I'd like something with good padding in case of bumps or drops, and enough room for the large AC adapter, a mouse, headset, some cables & a PS4 controller.

I'd prefer something that's nondescript, and doesn't have GAMING LAPTOP XTREME FTW or some **** written all over it ;)

Any recommendations?

I have a Everki Titan backpack, works really well and doesn't announce to the world that you're carrying a gaming laptop.

I quite like the one that actually comes with the G751.

Link because forums are buggy. (http://i1034.photobucket.com/albums/a422/b4bendeta/g74sx-backpack-mouse_zpsd87cdf25.jpg)

I bought a titan because it was the only one that it fit in and didn't advertise that I was carrying around a laptop. In hindsight I'd have not wasted my money of the laptop.

This is a perfect laptop case for the 751 in my opinion. A perfect fit. Everki Advance Laptop Bag
I'm not a backpack fan myself.

I just got my G751JY, and I needed a backpack ASAP because I had to catch a flight in 2 hours. The only bag they had was an Everki Titan, and while it was expensive, I am very pleased and would highly recommend it. It's got lots of space and a good deal of padding. The felt lining is good too.

Thanks guys! I like the shoulder bags better but they're a tight fit with the rest of the components I want to carry, at least the ones I've seen. Backpack it is!

You can take a look at ASUS RoG Nomad (http://www.asus.com/Computer_Bags/ASUS_ROG_NOMAD_BACKPACK/) backpack.
It can fit G751 and i'm much more happy with backpack than with my G751 laptop.
Hope it helps,

Using Asus Nomad for several months now and never had single issue with it + you can put a lot of stuff inside.

I Have the Everki Beacon and I love it. Plenty of room and very easy to locate everything. Heres a link. On Sale as of this post for almost 50 off retail. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5384425&SRCCODE=WEBGOOPA&scid=scplp668376&gclid=CjwKEAjw-ZqrBRDt_KjhjcbzhhISJAAlRGvlvWVCjbD8dXQKyYWscbIJQal p3OYnI5NHSyxNygX1yBoCwMLw_wcB

Be Wary of some of the normal 17Inch Bags. Had to take two back due to the JY being to thick for the slot and unable to fit the laptop even though it stated it could fit a 17.3 inch laptop.

I am using this for my g751jy: http://targus.com/uk/atmosphere-17-18-inch-xl-laptop-backpack-black-blue-tcb001eu

PROS: it is cheap, approx. 3 times cheaper then Everki Beacon
CONS: G751JY is huge + huge power brick. You can fit them + some accesories without any problem... but no much more space for bigger books.

There are plenty reviews on the YouTube regarding backpacks fitted for G751

A pro for the Everki bags is that you get lifetime warranty, meaning that you will never have to worry about replacing them.
