View Full Version : Please help with G20 no display issue

I'm losing my mind really

I have Asus Rog G20 2 months old

The issue is start " no display when I boot up " totally black no sounds no beeps but when I removed the cover and the screws the display will comeon when I reboot
As long as I put the screws and cover back there will be no display !!!

Can you please help it absolutely frustrating

Probably not likely, but make sure the screws look okay and are not too long and shorting out anything.

You may also want to try to reseat components (like memory) if you can do this safely just to make sure everything is installed correctly.

Otherwise, it might also be possible that there are some bad connections on some circuit boards that just happen to work fine when the cover is removed, so consider checking with ASUS support about warranty service in this case (guessing installing the screws and covers back may be flexing some circuit boards?).

its a known issue.

1. try to disable virtuwatt.
2. Also it might take a few tries till it works. it seems connected to the temperature of the Hardware.

no one really knows what the reason is... seems somewhere a Bios issue.
