I have heard a few folks say to remove the battery from the laptop to increase performance Is that right? Also would that make the power supply work harder?
Thanks in advance,

Doesn't make sense. The ps runs the notebook soley when it isn't charging the battery. It does work harder when your notebook is on and its charging. So maybe then it would supply less povwer to your notebook. But the charge time is short and the cycle repeats only rarely if you run on power mostly.

yup 99% is on ac. so like I said it was in the gamer section that removing the battery improves performance.
I do good on WOW fps is great .might need repaste soon temps are maxing close to 90c on the gpu and 71c for cpu. ofcourse i am folding while I am surfing as soon as I pause folding the temps drop fast. Also I am running gpu at 825/1100
will have to check with the geek squad and see what they charge for that.
