Most people put just their system and non game programs oj the SSD and games and data on an hdd. Does the g53 have 2 drive bays?

Open her up and look. :D

Anyway, if you DO had room for 2 drives you can use 120GB ssd for your system and data/games on your other hdd. If you can only use 1 drive you need a larger SSD.

OH, and set windows up to put your pagefile on the HDD, too. That's save a big chunk of SSD.

Can I get a direct link to an SSD that is good and will fit in my computer?:) Up until now I've only used 73GB on my computer so I was thinking to have Windows 7 + browser + my games (or one game at a time) on the SSD and if I start filling my computer with a lot of crap I will have that on my other disk. Can you give me a link to the one you recomend? What is pagefile?

Can you buy from Amazon in Norway? And how much do you want to spend in USD?

How do you do that? And can you do it without reformatting?

Move the page file? It's really easy.

Honestly...for most people with 12-16Gbs RAM (I think that's just about everybody here), the page file is rarely if ever used. You really don't need a big one (some argue, somewhat convincingly, that you don't need one at all), and if your computer ever does need to write to it, why not put it on the SSD and take advantage of the faster performance.

On my laptops with SSDs, I have a 1Gb page file on the C: drives. I don't think they get used, but it's so little space on OS drives that have tons of available space that I'm not the least bit worried about that 1Gb being essentially "wasted" or unused.

Was a bit more complicated than that. Firstly, I couldn't find one, even with "hide protected OS files" unchecked, so I had to go to System Properties>Advanced>Virtual Memory and set "No paging file" for the C drive and "System managed" for D.

But wasn't that easy? :D

It's more along the lines of 1$=6kr. $12000 for a laptop would be a bit overkill. >_>

But this is good stuff?, wasen't to expensive either. what if you wen't up to 2000kr, would you get a lot more?

Is it hard to install by the way?

Intel is the best. And the 320 series has a 5 yr warranty, I believe.

Speaking of $12,000 computers, I remember salivating over this system in days gone by: http://oldcomputers.net/hyperion.html They wanted over $10K for this beauty at that time and I was trying to figure out how to come up with the cash...

Sry if i change the subject of the thread, but since you are talking about SSD here i go.
I got a crucial m4 256gb, like 10 days ago i was with 121gb free space, donīt know how but after some days it goes down to 120. I didnīt install or download anything, all my video editings goes to the other drive. And today when i open My Pc i saw that it went down to 119. Start checking in internet some solution, i saw something of windows called error reporting, i disable it and i deleted 1.4gb of that error files. I restarted the computer thinking that that was all, but i am still with 119GB of free space!!
Any suggestions?

That's difficult to say. It could be Windows or it could be another application downloading updates, caching things, etc in the background. You should probably make sure that you turn off hibernate and system restore if you don't want Windows using them. Have you tried running the disk cleanup utility (right-clicking on the drive, properties, tools or something)? It may find some of your mystery files.
