hello guys , sorry for my bad English , but I have a problem with the motherboard of my g20 asus rog ( i7 , GTX970,16GB , Win 8.1 ) . All temperatures are normal , except that of the motherboard 108 C ( 226 F) .

Thanks for the help.

seems very hot.

Does your computer behave strange?

Where did you check the temperature?

The computer performs well also under stress, never off alone.
The temperatures were measured with different programs, at this point I think it's broken sensor .

I occasionally get Core Processor Temp Alerts (in the 170s Celsius!) but i think its a bad sensor as well because when checking the core temp history in MSI Afterburner, it only shows a momentary spike 3-5 times higher then what its recording consistently before and after.

These days I had more time to use the G20 and find a solution to the problem of the high temperature of the motherboard, before sending the pc in Asus assistance. I tried to do all the possible tests with various third-party programs (Speccy,Speedfan,Real Temp,HWMonitor,HWinfo,Aida64 ) always with the same result. If I enter in the BIOS in advanced mode, read-only CPU temperature. Then I tried Asus Ai Suite III ( problem of starting the program, "access violation" error ) and Probe II Asus sense ( not read any temperature ) . So I spoke with the developer of AIDA64 on their forums and it seems that the G20 motherboard has a hardware limitation that prevents the correct reading of the temperature. In fact, for this last beta of AIDA64 specific to the Asus Rog G20 was deprived of the opportunity to see the temperature of the motherboard . As I wrote above , the G20 did not give me particular problems so far , except two Aegis alert "+12V 0.384 V Abnormal".If anyone has encountered the same problem and found a solution tell here.I'm sorry for my english and thanks in advance.

I also have such issue with mine G20, CPUID HWMonitor usually gives me ~120C at start and something like ~106C some time later.

P.S. I've disassembled g20 and changed stock thermal interface of i7-4790 under integrated heat spreader (IHS), that gave me very good temperatures under load and more silent idling.

SYSTIN at 111c would suggest that the sensor is not enabled on the motherboard, very common and nothing to worry about.

It seems like it is enabled because it changes over time. Lowest I can recall was 105C, highest 121C.

It seems like it is enabled because it changes over time. Lowest I can recall was 105C, highest 121C.Then it's reading it wrong.. still NBD
