I have an ASUS ROG G751GT, and am very happy with it. Currently, I am using a USB 3.0 hub with displaylink tech to use two additional monitors. However, if I can use something built into the laptop to use these monitors, the fabled trinity display, I would prefer that. How do you recommend I do this?

using the thunderbolt port would make the most sense.

Great! What sort of adapter/cable should I use to do this? Thanks!

You are not providing a lot of details, however I'll asume that you intend to use the monitors via the HDMI interface. You could use this http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters%C2%AE-DisplayPort-Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B00APLJ58M/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1438615729&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=ini+Display+Port+DP+to+HDMI Along with a regular HDMI cable in the HDMI port,

Ah so I was right when I looked at the thread earlier.

Yeah just use one of the other outputs, you don't even need those USB adapters really.

You can get straight HDMI to DVI cables, for pretty cheap too, and will work with quite a lot of monitors (where some may have displayport and lack hdmi or vice verca)

One monitor is DVI, the other is HDMI. I tried using a DIsplayport to DVI converter when I first got this machine, but it didn't display anything.

Possibly a bad cable? You can also go HDMI to DVI, that is exactly what I am doing for one of my monitors.
