*Warning* Noob questions incoming

So I just got my New G751-JY today and am about to complete windows 10 clean install. need some guidance about what to do next:

1. Do I need to download and install the drivers from this page below or are they already pre-installed even after windows upgrade?

http://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/ASUS_ROG_G751JY/HelpDesk_Download/

2. Are programs like ASUS Splendid just bloatware or something I should be taking advantage of?

Thanks a lot in advance for the help! :)

first do an upgrade to W10 check to see if W10 is activated them if u want to u can do a clean install after u do the W10 upgrade first , then on the G751jy page install the W10 drivers the ATK package and the 2 utilizes listed in the drivers. W8.1 drivers should work in W10 but the ATK and the 2 Utility drivers u need in W10 splendid video is great program . most drivers will be installed in W10 except the new W10 ATK and W10 utilities.
I have 2 G751JY works great in W10. I did not do a clean install I just upgraded to W10 no problems at all
hope this was helpful and easy to understand

Yep - W10 upgrade worked fine for me too. Good luck going back to W8.1 though if you ever need to!

Don't forget to install Chipset and Bluetooth drivers listed under windows 8.1 on the ASUS support page.

Redfox u post link to intel bios please , I think I would stay with Asus Certified bios though
A non Certified Asus bios could brick your laptop
