Hey guys,

I have an ASUS G75VW gaming laptop. It's been working well and all.

But there's this issue that i've postponed for years and today I decided to look for an answer. I know this is an "old" model and the chances of someone actually replying is slim, but here goes anyway :)

Details:
I've been always running Windows 7 Ultimate. It was the first thing i did with the laptop (reinstalling the OS). After all the drivers and stuff, i remember installing the Asus Power4Gear profiles from the official download page. I think the software is called "Asus Power4Gear Hybrid".

Problem:
The laptop never goes to sleep mode when running on one of the many Asus Power4Gear power plans (entertainment, high performance, battery saving, quiet office). It ignores completely my sleep settings and it just stays on.

If i change it to one of Windows built-in plans like the "Power saver" then it works exactly as expected.

So where is the problem? Where can i look and investigate? Anyone else having this problem?
