I am currently looking for a new laptop as the G750JS i recently bought had a big problem with the bluray drive and i sent it back for a refund (which i did get). Soon the G752 will be available here in Austria and i managed to find a really good deal (or at least i think it is) on the G752VY-GC144D, which costs just 1700 euros on my favorite etailer e-tec ( as well as 2 others). I have already preordered one but i am afraid the prices will change, what do you think, will the price go up and if so will they cancel my order?

PS 970M version of the G752 is 1500 euros but it has no SSD so for 200 more a 256GB SSD and a 980M is too good to pass up.

I assume you're talking about the 1763.92 euro one? You'd have to add 8 more GB of DDR4 to make it really stretch its legs, though, which can be expensive as DDR4 SO-DIMM is difficult to find in some places. Also, it's the 4GB model of the 980M but it's also just a FHD screen, not 4K so that should be fine. 4GB is good for FHD but I'd want 8GB if a 4K model was available.

I bought the equivalent G751JY with essentially the same specs for 1450 euros in Bulgaria, so I can't really tell you how good a deal it is...it's definitely not a BAD one, since it does come with a nice 256GB NVMe drive, which mine didn't come with and that's another hundred euros on top ... and the 980M is a must at this point because the next generation will be around the door and the 980M has been around for more than an year now.
