Hoi!

So, my fourth Asus ROG machine :) Asus g752!

****e me its awsome!

But I have one issue, and thats with low audio. At windows max (100%) audio, and programs at 100% the audio isnt very loud. Its like my asus g750 at 40%

Anyone else have this issue?

No one else with the G752 who have this issue?

Have u checked settings in Realtek HD Audio Manager? there should be icon in lower right or in hidden icons for HD audio Manager and thy to open Volume Mixer see if when running other audio apps they are set properly . Right Click on the speaker icon when running games see where sound setting is set to

yep, yep...what Toronto699 said...It's doubtful Asus' new laptops will have audio issues. I do have that problem on my POS HP laptop however and had to dl a DFX audio booster for certain you-tube videos that play at low volume

Its a settings issue I'm sure of that, W10 audio is messed up compared to other Windows versions , its not the G752 per say . its W10 I'm sure, but I could be wrong as well

Its all at max, but can almost not hear anything. Its like a ... very quite calm person talking to you.

And the subwoofer thingy makes "clicking" sounds every now and them. Im pretty sure its something hardware ralted :(

My g750 with Win10 plays load as hell (but not even close to as strong as this comp tho haha)

Then return it , that's what I would do. for me not working Right Out Of The Box, I would return it regardless if it was hardware or software .
Not Working Right Out Of The Box Its Gone , Hasta La Vista Asus G752
Kaltoreth u have G-Sync working on that G752?

before you pack up your computer and go thru all the hassle of returning it...did you check to see if there is a conflict with anything

control panel
hardware and sound
devises and printers
devise manager
sound video and game controllers

see if there is a conflict

its a software issues. not hardware related.
I'm 100% sure about that. why so many program using audio device at once?
close it and try.

Tried reinstalling the realtek drivers, and also uninstalling the realtek hardware via devicemanager. Also tried older realtek drivers etc. Didnt work :/

I also tried uninstalling all the asus software. Only thing I have NOT tried, is a clean install of windows 10 without any of the asus stuff at all. Thinking about trying that. But unlike my g750 there isnt a recovery partiton so havent really gone through with it yet

I would try Asus tech support, if they don't have a solution send it back.

Hi !

I have a new G752VL in canada and i have the same problem with the audio..
very low power and subwoofer noise and vibration...

My asus N56VZ sound very louder and really stronger ..

At 35-40% on my N56vz is stronger than the G752 100% ..

:(

I returned it to vendor a few weeks after i started this thread. Because i got a replacement laptop and it had the same ****ing low audio issue.

I refuse to pay so much money for a computer with so so SOOOOOO ****ty audio.
I dont play with a headset etc, i play with it on my lap etc. So atleast "fair" audio is a given.

So im still using my 751.

The G752 was designed to optimize audio quality for the headset and external speakers as this is the preference for most people. If you use the built-in speakers for gaming, we recommend adjusting the equalizer settings in Sonic Studio and you should notice a big difference in the sound level through the built-in speakers. If we enabled this enhancement by default it would have caused the sound to be distorted for headset and external speakers.
