I usually leave my jt on high performance instead of balanced. But in gaming, i really don't see much of a difference. It seems all high performance does it rape my batter. So are there any benifits to high performance?

Thanks. I was always wondering. I mean the battery gives me enough power in gaming when plugged in.

it's no problem, it's just that the CPU will stay @ 3.5 GHz even when idling. This consumes more electricity.

Me too would love to know cause i'm always on high performance (modified to my preferences) and never had any issues with it...

There is no problem with high performance, just as someone already said, CPU will sit at its max frequency = max voltage all the time, that means you will get slightly higher temperatures when idling and while playing some not so much demanding games.
