Has anyone tried this Ram in their laptop? I see it on Xotic PC when you customize the G751JY?

Yes it works but i highly suggest gskill 2133 in the g751jy its faster and runs flawlessly. Just remember when changing speed to change all slots.

Is it safe to put that in? The ram preinstalled was 1600 and this is 2133. I don't know if the motherboard can take that speed

I tried searching, but failed to find anything relevant. Maybe my keywords were "incorrect". Could you point me a guide on how to change the pre-installed memory and can you tell me does changing it void warranty? I have read some vague descriptions of it being under the keyboard, which would indicate that the one needs to disassemble something before it can be swapped...

Yes you could void your warranty changing the internal ram modules, Insure you are positive you can dissemble and reassemble your notebook before attempting carelessness can damage cables connections etc.

Entire sticky thread dedicated to ram with links right at the top

Disassembly guide here you only need to go as far as lifting not removing the keyboard to fit the sticks in

Its very easy and i cant imagine anyone with common sense having a hard time with it.
