that version of VY is not out yet.
As far as I know, G752VY-RH71 is the only one that has shipped so far with DH72 shipping now.

Well, some VY is released: G752VY-RH71. Few Microcenter already have them.
RH71 has been shipped via GenTech, and is currently being shipped by XoticPC.
Cannot confirm the rest.

Mine's still on route. :(

as the motherboard is the same of G752VT, the biggest problem are:

BIOS locked in RAID mode
some incompatibility with Samsung 850 m.2 models
Have to load IRST driver "floppy mode" if u want to clean install"
Sonic Studio disappear after driver update/format due to licence issue and will not be supported anymore (realtek package on web didn't contain it)
Splendid utility didn't install properly due to package erro if you clean install
at this time, bios will not permit to create RAID between 2 M.2 device
some people reported that a quite number of model didn't recognize G-sync monitor
usb 3.0 controller sometimes freeze and unstuck all usb devices

If you consider this points, think that all other stuffs are perfect (starting from processor, XTU bench have for 4700hq 680pt., for 6700hq reach 980 pt.!)

How much reach XTU with i7-6700HQ 1000 pt??? That's good. That's 2/3 of i7-5820K result.
Intel have few Skylake mobile Processor.

Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ Processor - 2.6GHz - 3.6GHz - 6MB Cache - 378$
Intel® Core™ i7-6820HK Processor - 2.7GHz - 3.6GHz - 8MB Cache - 378$
Intel® Core™ i7-6820HQ Processor - 2.7GHz - 3.6GHz - 8MB Cache - 378$

I almost went with the G752VY-DH78K. But I ended up settling on the G752VY-DH72. I didnt know M.2 drives were so expensive. At the time I priced them out, I couldnt justify the $1000 difference. I thought the DH78K would come with the 4k screen, once I noticed it did not, I couldnt justify the $1000 price difference (I would have jumped on the DH78K if it had the 4k screen). Upon further research though, it seems the price is actually reasonable when you consider it has 64GB Ram, 8GB GTX 980, 6820HK Proc, and a 512GB M.2 compared to the DH72's 32GB Ram, 4GB GTX 980, 6700HQ Proc, 256GB M.2.
I would definitely like to compare the two though. Would be nice to see how much of a difference the processor and 8GB on the videocard make.

My DH72 should be delivered today. Waiting for FedEx as I type.

I ordered the G-752-DH78K , did not want the problems of upgrading in future with an other model . Still No Word when DH78K will be available as of today from the Asus Service Centre where I put the order in.
MrRuckus Enjoy your new laptop , first thing to do is check that it has G-Sync

Laptop is here. G-Sync is there and enabled. The screen on this laptop is a great step above my G750. There is no matte like look on the screen that you see on a usual Matte monitor. I couldn't be happier so far. Please post some bench's when you get your DH78K Toronto. Here's to hoping you get it before xmas. :)

Didn't mean to hijack the thread! Post the DH78K's once people have them! :)

EDIT: Not sure why its posting the photo below this. I deleted it, but its keeping it for some reason. I resized the images after I uploaded the first because I figured they were too big. heh.

Dr4g0n36, congrats)
Hope you'll be happy with the device all the way.

I guess many of us would really appreciate some mini-review on this, if you have time and dedication :)
As the main advantage of VY from cheaper models is cooling system, it would be great to have some temp benchmarks and whether it cuts CPU/GPU frequency under heavy load.

P.S. I'm struggling to choose between MSI GT72S and this, but MSI is on the market for a few mounts already...

Sure. Give me a little bit of time to do so. Looks like the The 3 folders you want are about 200MB zipped. I'll upload them and post a link momentarily.
