So i had the razer tactical backpack pro. Was surprised it didn't fit. If only it was wider a by an inch more :(

Anyway so I narrowed down to two bags the everki Titan and slappa 17inch custom bag

I like the material of the slappa. 1680D ballistic nylon. Even though the dimensions of its laptop compartment just fall short of g752's dimension.

So I've no choice but the Titan. I'd really like to know what specific material it's made of. Can't find it online. Support hasn't gotten back to me.

Also if there's any other bag made of 1680D nylon that are as comfy/large as the razer tactical backpack that can fit the laptop I'd like to know!

Thanks :)

When I first read your post I thought you were talking about "AIR BAGS" and I said to myself what kind of games are you playing that you need air bags connected to your laptop.

I heard racing games are pretty realistic but jeez...

Anyway, I have an MSI case that was shipped with my now returned 17" Asus but now being resent (long story) because the carrying case (briefcase type) I wanted was to small for the laptops size.
The MSI case is nice but it hides the true identify of the monster within. Doesn't the laptop manufacturer make a specific "case" for it's machine?

This is along the lines of what I use. I purchased mine I think 4 generations back. I have been using it ever since and Im about due for a replacement. I'll probably get the same again. I dont really care for the backbacks. Too cumbersome to carry in my hand, so I go for the briefcase style instead. This laptop though is slightly larger then the G750. The zipper to close the top (I only do if its raining) is now a very tight fit.

I've bought the Everki advance 18,4" (EKB407NCH18). I've also ROG backpack but G752 won't enter due to approx. 1 inch major size that have on the back (look externally more similar to a 4:3 notebook than a 16:9). With this bag (the only one that fit 34 cm and not 33,5 cm) the notebook seems fit fine.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but how padded is the Everki? Particularly the area that hits your thigh/leg?

Not very padded at all. Thin closed cell foam sewn into the lining about 3/8' thick on the Everki Advance.

why not just use the shuttle backpack?

I'm using it and can confirm that it does a great job.

According to the disclaimer on Amazon, the shuttle doesn't fit the ROG G752V.

Because shuttle (i have this with my G750) doesn't fit a more similar to 4/3 G752 compared to a 16/10 G750. G752 remains with corners off.

I have this bag for de GL752 version:

http://www.amazon.com/Case-Logic-VNB-217-17-Inch-Backpack/dp/B002J9HBSE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453109038&sr=8-1&keywords=Case+Logic+VNB217

If you want, you can give me the measures of the G752 and I can see if it fits this bag. For the GL, there's plenty of space, it fits without problems, in fact there's extra space. It's definitely the best choice if you're not moving it too much, and just need it occasionally. It costed me 30€ in Europe.

It is also decently padded. I would add some padding in the bottom, but surely does the job.

G752VT is 43 cm. x 34 cm. x 4,5 cm. The only bag that fit these "strange" measures is the Everki for 18.4" laptop.

34 cm???? Porca troia. Definitely doesn't fit the bag I linked, just by two or three centimeters (on the width)

The outside dimensions of the G752 (and G751) are closer to an 18" machine. I've been looking at the Slappa Kampus bag in 18" - should be more than enough to fit my G751.

I have a backpack I bought on Amazon for 17.3" laptops, and the G751 doesn't even fit inside it at all!

Oh...I did not know that. My G751 fits perfectly into the shuttle. Was expecting the G752 to have the same size...

The outside dimensions of the G752 (and G751) I've been looking at the Slappa Kampus bag in 18"

Kampus looks big enough, but it is a ... big pouch. Plus, it looks awfully large on the back.
What about the M.A.S.K. line? They state (taken from the Slappa web page):

Laptop Compartment Dimensions 12.5"(w) x 16.5"(h) x 2.5"(d)
Main Compartment Dimensions 12"(w) x 15.5"(h) x 5"(d)

...and the G752 is 12.7" x 16.4" x 1.9" ... falls a bit short on the width, right?

The dimension of the G752 from front to back is a good inch more than the G751. The rest of the dimensions are fairly close. The G751 is pretty form fitting for the shuttle as is the Nomad. The way the laptop goes in, end to end, makes the front to back dimension the deal breaker. Same deal breaker applies for messenger bags. You can get it in the messenger bags, you just cant zip it closed.

I have the Everki Advance for now. It serves its purpose as something to store it in and will fit the bare essentials in the smallest form possible. Not huge in padding but its not like I throw it around to see how well it lands from 20 FT drop. I find the bag sufficient and cost effective. If I was worried about heavy duty protection I'm afraid the ROG logo on a shuttle isn't going to improve a thing. I would go for a Pelican case that I can custom mold the foam inside for my specific purpose for around the same cost. That's what I use for my Pro camera gear.

The Kampus bag has a separate section for the laptop. The rest, yes, is a big open pouch, which is perfect for me, but not for others. I'll probably order it sometime next month, because it's not a priority - I'm not going anywhere for almost two months, so my G751 isn't moving for a bit.

The free bag asus bundled my laptop with does fit but not exactly. You have to really force it in, i'm not sure what's the name.

Anyway, i have the everki titan and i love it. It's a snug fit(no room for sleeves on laptop) and very very comfortable. The laptop padding is a good thickness even on the bottom of the bag.

I just got a free ROG Shuttle II and my 751 fits perfectly. Don't know how well, or if a 752 would fit.

Well, I don't know the dimensions for the 751, and I definitely don't know them in Centimeters. The only one that really matters though, is the depth - the length from the front edge to the tips of the exhaust vents.

I had G750 with rog backpack and the laptop fit extremely stretch, but it fit. When i bought G752 i found that exhaust side is 2 cm more wide than G750/1 form factor and the uper side of backpack wont close. I had to buy an everki in alternative to go outside with backpack open, or insert G752 in the wider side not used for notebook carry.

I have the Shuttle II and the G751 fit with room to spare. It just slid right in, wasn't tight at all, and the bag zipped with no issues. Had about a half-inch of room on either side, or a full inch if I slid either end against the side of the bag. According to google, 2cm is less than an inch, so the G752 should fit just fine , if a little tight.

I just bought the Oakley Kitchen sink camo backpack. Note that the G752 does not fit into the laptop compartment but I was able to use the main compartment itself which is still okay as the bag is able to close properly unlike other bags I tried at the mall.

Can confirm Northface Router does not fit and wont even close.

My G752VT came in a big black box which included a Cerberus Headset and a Sica mouse but the backpack that came with I'm not so sure what it is. Its all black and only has 2 compartments and is way too small for the G752. Did not close all the way but had to choice and had to use it for a couple of days. So the aluminum lid got scratched.

pelican 1495, would this fit the G752? im leaning on buying this...

JustinThyme

I just looked at the Pelican 1495 and its just shy of accommodating the G752. The interior dimensions front to rear of the case is 13.12 and the laptop is 13.25. The the length is only 18.87 where the laptop is 17. So just shy on one dimension then if by miracle it did fit the other dimension doesnt leave very much room to get your power brick in there.
Lets just say that if you did manage to shoehorn it in there it would be an extremely tight fit.

Looks like a counterfeit to me. It doesnt resemble the Nomad or the shuttle, the dead giveaway is the ROG logo embroidered in. All ASUS products have a badge that stitched on.
