View Full Version : G750JM Driver support and BSODs since Windows 10 upgrade

I have G750JM. I am getting the Driver IRQL Not Less Or Equal and Unexpected Store Exception since the Windows 10 upgrade. I did the research and looked at the dump files and everything suggests that there are two drivers that are causing these two most likely, the display driver, and the Intel Rapid Storage Technology.

I looked for the driver support for this laptop and I found little to no support when compared to other ROG laptops. I am having a difficult time understanding as to why ASUS has such minimal driver support for one of the most expensive laptops they have, I have attached the dump files package, please help me resolve these BSODs if possible.

I couldn't attach the dump package for some reason, so here is the link: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=60FAAD6D14BE1B01!106&authkey=!AFogfJ3kp-I0-Uc&ithint=file%2czip

I don't have BSOD issues and I have had the G750JM since June 2014 and windows 10 installed (since September 20th) . Here is the link to the newest version of Intel display driver

Make sure to delete the current display drivers for "intel" through device manager and it will reboot, after reboot, install the driver I have linked.

I would also update the nvidia drivers if I were you. I would recommend downloading "Nvidia Geforce Experience"

Install Geforce Experience and use it to download the latest NVIDIA drivers and I would recommend a clean install of the driver. I had issues with some games when I initially updated to windows 10 but Nvidia driver updates through Geforce experience fixed it.

Good luck and keep me updated

I figured out the issue. I used to use the cable that came with my portable battery charger to charge my phone via my laptop all the time, that wire was able to charge my phone a lot quicker than the regular usb cable and apparently it drew more power out of my laptop than it should have and as soon as I stopped using it, the laptop hasn't had a bsod since last month now, from having a couple of bsods every day. But thanks for the input and sorry for the delayed reply.
