G752 back light are still on after shut down

Hello guys I just got my g752 and I am excited and all but I am having trouble when i shut it down.

When i shut it down from the start menu on win 10 the lights strips at the back of the monitor are still on.
I cant hear the fans turning or anything humming but the light are on.

the only time it turned off was when i let it idle and it went to sleep mode. Thank you!

disable fast boot in control panel / power options / advanced power options in the left pane

what is probably happening is, when you are shutting down, Windows is trying to save some of the files running for a faster startup next time, but it failing to do so causing it to not fully turn off.

also, you can run this command in an elevated command prompt to free up the space of the hiberfile.sys since we won't be using this feature

powercfg -h off then hit ENTER
