Hi all, well I just got my build completed and am attempting to try an overclock.
I'm following "Guide: Overclocking Core i7-6700K to 4.6GHz on the Maximus VIII Extreme"
and have just run the preliminary test. Unfortunately it has come up with an error of
"unable to parse system specs - report to forum" All suggestions and hints/tips are welcome this point.

Hmmm could it be that it is due to the ram settings that enable the ram to reach the 3733 mhz ?
The stock speed was something like 2300 mhz but I had to alter settings in bios to get it to the correct speed ..

Oh .. just read that it will not work with i7 6700 Skylake .. my bad :-(

But if the temperatures were low with the testing at %100,
can I assume it's ok to start with the overclock? I also need to
know if I need to make any allowance for the changes I made
to the RAM speed or will this just overclock the CPU and nothing else?
