Hello everybody:

I have an External HDD (Seagate Backup 3 TB) which I use to save my data with my G750GX. The standard connection is with the supplied cable (Micro-B to USB 3.0 Cable).

The speed connection is not bad (I understand is around 5GB/s) but I would like to take advantage that my G750JX has a Thunderbolt port and to obtain a cable that could connect the Seagate External HDD (Micro-B) to the Thunderbolt port of my Asus with the double of this speed (10 GB/s).

Somebody knows if this is possible and can suggest were to get/buy this cable?

I already have looked at amazon and googled it but no good news at the moment.

Thanks for your advice!

why ??
too much money for spend ?

USB 3 max is 5Gb/s= 625 MO/s
your HD is 160 Mo/s max

no need to buy a TB cable IMO.
