Hello,

I've been posting in this forum about Dual Booting W7 and W10. I was able to install W7 with UEFI and by configuring the boot options to: NO SECUREBOOT/NO FASTBOOT/CSM ENABLED. The Disk is in GPT layout because it had W10 pre-installed. It's a brand new laptop (ROG GL552VW-DH71). And ever since I installed W7 It's missing a bunch of drivers:

-USB Controller
-PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller
-PCI Simple Communications Controller
-Unknown Device
-Unknown Device

The thing is I don't even have a mouse to move around. I've been using Mouse Keys with the Numpad (not cool).

I've been downloading drivers but I can't seem to find drivers for the USB Controller or PCI Controllers? Anybody experience this as well?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

like I haven't publish a full guide about USB 3.0 driver ( that was taken from windows 7 and put on win 8 & 10 ).
See my sig for that driver/guide about the USB 3.0 driver ( which although directed for win 10 - it is also working for win 7 ! as it is a win 7 driver ! )

now.. for the rest of these unknown driver... dear @erick.chumit - I really don't understand why you've opened a new thread instead of posting a reply in you own already opened thread of the SAME SUBJECT.
Please note that my following answer is an IRREGULAR step, as I DO NOT SUPPORT SPAMMING OF THIS THREAD WITH REPREATED NEW THREADS ABOUT SAME SUBJECT.

Look here for the rest of the missing drivers (https://devid.drp.su/?dev=asus%20g522) and it even better if you ran the latest ISO of DRP which can scan and locate the missing drivers (https://drp.su/download.htm).
now... don't blam anyone if you can't find a driver for win 7 on your G522 laptop, as it includes a HW that might have only NEWER OS drivers win 8+.
I still don't understand why you can't live with virtualbox emulation of win7...
hell...my parents PC runs win8 with virtualbox emulation of full windows xp that even manages to supports emulation of RS-232 licence-plug.
but if you wish to break your head against the wall with driver searching... be my guest.
i'm sure the above driver source would solve most of the main missing drivers - don't expect your win7 to be gaming-performance-tweaked OS.

Virtual systems do not support 3D hardware.
