With new bios you can enable AHCI mode.
Here is a link:

Here are the steps going from RAID mode to AHCI to boot in Windows:

And now Samsung Magician is fully working for Samsung AHCI drive :D

Nice!

Nothing in the VY yet, still on 208 that is hit or miss. Cant even use magician on SATA drives.
How is it working for the 256GB NVMe? I see it is at least showing up correctly!

NMVe is a "transfer topology" that came to replace the old AHCI, that was NOT developed specifically for SSD, in the minds of the developers ( it was in the era when HDD ruled )
If you want the highest benchmarks and transfer speed W and R - NVMe is the right tech to go with.

Honestly I don't think AHCI was ever disabled in the first place. It shows up AHCI everywhere except in Samsung Magician starting in the BIOS.

Wasnt expecting raid or the NVMe drive to work right but it looks like a step in the right direction either way.
Now for the real question of the day, can you install Samsung NVMe drivers?

With the 211 Bios update and changing from raid to ahci I was able to install the Samsung NVMe drivers and also Samsung magician was able to detect correctly the 950 pro

So is magician working correctly with the 950 pro and do the Samsung drivers show any improvements? Please post crystalmark for the 950 with the Samsung driver
Thanks
