I'm doing some testing of these SSD's using my workstation while waiting on my G752VL to arrived in the mail. I have a question about the speed of this drive in the workstation Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H.

So I ran the CrystalDiskMark software on the drive and the speed seemed quite low in comparison to what I've seen from others posting on this forum. I'm not sure if its the result of this motherboard or something I need to configure or what. Was hoping someone could give me some clues.

Windows 10 64bit
I5 Processor 4 core 2.5Ghz

Thanks W.

Didnt see anywhere in the specs that it supports NVMe protocol. Saw similar results posted by another user on a G751JY when attempting to use this drive on that platform without NVMe support. From what I can see that particular motherboard only supports SATA express.

Off gigabyte webpage for GA-H97-D3H
M.2 for SSDs drives with up to 10 Gb/s data transfer

Off gigabyte webpage for GA-Z170X-Gaming G1
Dual PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 Connectors with up to 32Gb/s Data Transfer (PCIe NVMe & SATA SSD support)

You might want to check in on Gigabyte support forums.
