Digital Storm always seems overpriced even among the premium PC vendors. This rig does look slick but if you spent the same money at Origin or FalconNW you'd get much better actual gaming performance. The other thing I wonder about is what the power draw is. Getting an OC'd i7 down to 0 is a very power intensive proposition.

what bums me out is why use a evga sli bridge when the r3e comes with an asus 3 way bridge... WHACk!

If it's any consolation I doubt there's any functional reason. It's probably only that way for this one demo rig because they lost or broke the other one. But yeah, nobody is sharing pictures of the other ones worldwide so this sucks for ASUS.

they do it on purpose for evga. to "support" their vga sales

Ah I see, so they take all the branding off of the cards to install the water blocks but they use an EVGA bridge to add the branding back?
