Hi.
In relation to hard drive upgrade: I just replaced primary (where is OS) 320gb hdd with 480gb ssd. I used WD Acronis software to clone, everyone can download from WD website. Very easy to use, no need to re-install OS and all yours software. It working so good, machine is fast as hell now! Very happy. I get also i7 940XM :)
My second disk in bay is 500gb 5400rpm. I want to replace this drive to extend life of my laptop. Need more gb.... I thinking about 1TB, 1.5Tb or if it is possible 2Tb hdd...
My question: is there any restriction by hardware for maximum capacity hard drives???

Any 2.5 format no thicker than 9.5 will work, including SSD, I believe they are up to 2 TB in that format. If your are running MBR then you'll be at the maximum size at 2 TB or the disk will set itself up as GPT either way shouldn't be any problems there are other but they are 12 mm thick and won't fit in. Also there are SSD's in that format up to 2 TB

To be 100% sure...
2Tb per disc (bay) or 2Tb in total for laptop?

The limitation is the size of the drives 2.5 x 9.5 maximum, I believe at this time the largest drives in that format are 2 TB you can have as many as you have SATA slots
