Really nice! I think it's the first time I see case cable sleeving but eh! it's cool looking!! Any idea about the GPU you will use?

pcjunkie209

thanks Martin! ya as for case sleeving i was tired of looking at the black usb and audio so i thought why not make everything flow together
As for GPU, Not sure yet 570 comes out pretty quik here....:)

Ahah XD If you ever have ot much money and no more power outlet for computer let me know;) I can rent you some XD. Never used this case before, how is the paint inside? Does it look like cheap swiftech paint or more like a plated paint?

pcjunkie209
12-05-2010, 07:52 PM
Actually I was suprized on how good the paint was. It was done pretty good. I was expecting the worst but very pleased. When it's done I'll take some high res pics some maybe you can see better.

That would be awesome! This case was on my list for my next build. Well, my rebuild. I was looking to use my ATCS as a server case and put some hardware I have here in a smaller case like NZXT Phantom, Fractal XL, Lianli or lancool ( so many wonderfull one ). The fact is that I am tired of the blue and white of my GA board. I am waiting for these pic to see how it is and for sure, the final result ;) Carry on my friend!

pcjunkie209
12-06-2010, 12:58 AM
I was undecided about a case. I tried that nzxt tempest evo case and I really liked that but it's a bit bigger than I wanted for this build. Plus I had this lancool case last year in all black but the new red and black colors are nice. The whole inside shell of the case is red and the outer panels are black which makes a premium ROG addition! :) so I would say definitely worth the cash. And thanks again Martin. This should be done shortlyill be adding to the F@H farm for the comp and maybe use as back up gamer!:)

martin_metal_88
12-06-2010, 02:20 AM
Yeah I already saw few tempest. Personally they felt a bit cheap to me. Like the Azza Solano and the Antec three/nine/twelve. Which is not the case of he Lancool. If they can make a case with expansion card lock like that's, it's because it can stand the stress.

pcjunkie209
12-06-2010, 02:44 AM
Ya the expansion lock is sturdy. On my old lancool I had 2 285s and not any movement or problems. As for the tempest evo it is a really nice case I will buy again

http://i1008.photobucket.com/albums/af205/pcjunkie209/New%20Build/DSC04130.jpg

Pretty nice! dude to saw that make me want to build a new computer so bad XD That's unfair :P
I just take a look also at some pic of the case and you can fit the 8 pin connector in that if the 8 pin is 2 X 4 pin.
Hope to see the final result soon! this is getting pretty interesting :)

Carry on my friend!

Good point. Have you ever seen a 2x4 replacement molex that he could mod on there? I'm not sure if two 4pins would fit right.

martin_metal_88
12-09-2010, 05:41 PM
Ho ok I see what is the problem, it's the huge round crap antec have on the cable of the TPQ 1200W that's why it didn't fit! Then just buy a pre-sleeved red extension I think you have no other choice.

pcjunkie209
12-09-2010, 06:27 PM
Lol...that's the problem that crappy cap antec put so close to the end of the plug. I got it to fit through the hole on the back but not the cap. So I'll be buying a couple more unisleeved extensions.

martin_metal_88
12-09-2010, 06:41 PM
I think now you have no more choice for the GPU. Concidering the price and performance you have to get a 570 XD

You already told me that you were waiting for it but now with what we see it's impossible to see outside. Unless AMD come with impressive GPU in 1 week or 2.

Thanks Martin! Ya same board now u know why I gave up so quickly needed board in case.....lol.
That rad took some work but I took my time must have repainted about 6times because didn't like the results till now. And I have some pretty extensive setups so I wanted something simple neat and clean. And I am very happy with the turnout. I will be changing res when the Koolance double bay one is available again.

martin_metal_88
12-22-2010, 10:33 PM
I hope you will be changing res XD My first try for aloop was using this one and I end up giving it to Otto because he needed the cheapest one we could find for one time use. Mine was so crappy that even the screw that came with it were not long enough to fit...great quality controll -_-'

Hey, pcjunkie nice to see you improved on the cable management. Great stuff, maybe you can improve on the DVD drive area.

Looking at it makes me feels like Christmas.

I hope you will be ....-_-'
