Hey guys, its been a while. I am going to repaste my g750js. Already ordered arctic mx-4 and few thermal pads 13x13x0.5mm.

I saw few post of people saying that there is something stick to the gpu like a tape? I have no idea whats that but can i order it from somewhere?

Also where does the thermal pads should apply?

Also i tried to find some video how to dissemble the g750 but nothing so far, is there a guide or something?

get some .5mm thick thermal pads_ You can always stack them together if you need to go thicker. I've tested them stacked together and not stacked together_ It doesn't affect their thermal performance.

I know you need at least .5mm and 1mm thick pads. Save some money and purchase .5mm pads and stick them together if needed to go 1mm or 1.5mm_ its really hard to tell what size you need, you'll have to kind of eyeball everything.
