Hi.

I'm about to get a new Asus G74sx. The first thing I want to do is to install W7 professional 64 bits. I've been reading about some issues with the GPU after this process and I would like to know if anyone has done this process without trouble. Also I know that isnīt good to install the drivers from the CD that comes with the pc because they are old. Where I can get all the current drivers?

Thxs.

Lots of owners here have done fresh Windows installs. I haven't had any GPU issues after my clean installation, nor have I heard of others experiencing this. What GPU issue are you referring to?

The current version of all the drivers are available in the Drivers thread (1st post (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?5224-Drivers-Apps-and-How-to-s&p=38072&viewfull=1#post38072)).

(PS: You can save some money by upgrading Home Premium to Win 7 Pro before you do your clean install.)

Where are you reading about GPU problems after Windows 7 Pro installation?

http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?5224-Drivers-Apps-and-How-to-s is a good place to get links to current drivers for your G74SX.
