I've been hearing a lot of people bashing on the speakers sound pops. So I discovered that by changing a setting in the registry after updating your Realtek Audio Drivers, you can get the sound popping/stuttering to stop.

Here's how you do it:

Open regedit and go to the following:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtek\RAVCpl64\PowerM gnt.

Change parameters to the following:

Enabled = 0
DelayTime = 10

Restart the computer and the sound popping will go away. Make sure you are using Asus Sonic Studio to get the best audio quality.

For the best audio quality uninstall Asus Sonic Studio completely and use one of these 3rd party EQ:

I just disabled sonic suite and its fine now, no more stuttering. Almost all of the problems in asus laptops are caused by the ASUS bloatware. Its as if they just fill in all the random software they make and ship it out without testing anything.
