Yay... upgraded from my G75vw to this model, and so far I like it..
I do have some questions, since I can't find it.

1. I can't see the letters on the keyboard.. the light was on earlier but turned off. How do I turn it back on?

2. Can I make an installation USB, in case I replace the HDD ? with the old Asus there was a tool to create a bootable USB.

OK, got number 1 figured out, but number 2... no idea. the old tool I found is for Windows 8 only.

Also, is there a way to the the num keypad on by default?

Thank you

For number two you can either clone the drive to a new drive and put it away for safe keeping (what I always do) or create an image to NAS or such. There is a huge difference between a bootable USB and an installation USB. They all use a recovery partition so when you choose reset this PC under back up and restore you are reset to the original out of the box condition. I see you have already installed win 10 before making an image so you have most likely screwed yourself out of that option.

I had replaced the drive with an SDD, so I have the original still.
I did create an image of it/ backup USB stuck per Asus customer services.
But noticed that it doesn't have a hidden partition anymore on the drive.. so have no clue where some items are.
Like the default background image.. kinda like it.
