hi guys,
its been 9 months now that i have bought this new rig of mine. the rig details are as follows
i7 5820K CPU 3.30GHZ
asus rampage 5 extreme Motherboard
4x4 GB Corsair DDR4 2133 (1066MHz) RAM
Corsair H100i GTX CPU cooler
Nvidia Quadro 600 (soon replacing it with Asus Geforce GTX 1070 Strix 08G Gaming)
Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
Seagate 2x1TB HDD
Coolermaster HAF 932 Cabinet

I was planning to overclock this rig to a stable level where i can utilize more juice for my 3d rendering process
so my question is,
can i use the asus overclock profiles from the UEFI bios to overclock my rig,
after setting or using the profiles will the system run stable,
which profile should i use,
after using the profiles is there any other settings or tweakings that i need to do,
if i want to return back to the stock settings can i use "Load optimize defaults" to neutralize all the overclock settings,
if i get a stable system after overclocking and i use it for a longer time period will it degrade my components.

there might be more questions but this is what i think as of now.
please help guys coz this is the first time ever in my life that i am trying to overclock my rig

thanks in advance

Yes, you can use the profiles but there are not guarantees that they will work off the bat. It all depends if your CPU.
