shadows are showing up some form of pixelated and arent rendering properly, eating up performance. Would this be a driver problem? or a computer problem?
I uninstalled and reinstalled the NVIDIA Driver, with the newest one that i know of from the thread here, v295.18, to no avail.

Here are screenshots (http://imgur.com/a/YPjuK#0) to further convey what im talking about. For the mass effect pictures you should zoom in all the way

FEAR 2 has black words at the menu instead of gray because of the same issues, and the game itself is incredibly laggy because of this, when it used to run perfect before :(

Hi.

I apologize beforehand because my reply isnt to provide you a solution. I would like to know where did you buy your Asus because I bought the same reference and Im waiting for it. If I get it I could try and see if I'm having the same problem and maybe tell you if it is a hard or soft issue.

Hopefully you'll find a solution.

Thanks in advance.

Hi!

Try lowering down all your settings in game first and see does the shadow still mess up the games even in the lowest settings quality.

Get the latest driver via Auto Detect your GPU (http://www.geforce.com/Drivers)

But then again possible for you to check your GPU temperature it might be GPU overheating? PM me if you need the necessary application to manage your notebook

I have HWinfo, but idk if it tells me the gpu temperature. if you have a better program i would appreciate a link. and ill try running everything at lowest and see what happens

EDIT: http://imgur.com/8FDpd,8EsOa here is LA Noire running at lowest everything
EDIT2: using the recommended driver from the offcial Nvidia site gave the same results as well, on lowest everything

I'm seeing this issue in SW:TOR as well, though only on tree shadows and only during conversations, not during the actual gameplay. Now that I think about it, conversations use DoF (Depth of Field) effect which could maybe cause this. Still, would be nice to know if we can find a fix for it
