Hi folks,
i have few question about my mobo, a Asus Z270F Gaming

First doubt regarding an issue with Samsung Magician.
I've installed as primary device (OS) a Samsuns 850 Evo, connected with proper cable (Sata6). But when i'm in windows Samsuns Magician read as speed 1,5Gbps while Intel Rapid Storage utility read 6GBPS.
How is possible this difference? May i fix something? (Bios: SSD on Sata 1 6G, Enabled, Hot Plug disabled)

ps: i've change Mobo, Cpu and Ram without installing a new os.

Second thing: temp (room temp about 23 C)

Config:
Corsair Carbid 400R with front, lateral and upper fan installed
Intel i7 7700k
Zalman CNPS14x with 2 optional fan installed
Asus Z270F Gaming (bios version 501 with XMP & Turbo Mode enabled)
32 Gb Ram Kingston HyperX Fury
Asus Strix 1080 A8G x2 (SLI)

I've checked many times system temp with HwInfo so i'll ask.
It's normal to have in idle about 44 C (package, single core a few degrees less) while in gaming (Battlefield 1) max temp 72 C
I'll forgot to say that i play at 4k on ultra detail if possible

Thanks in advance.

Run one of those SSD benchmarking programs. That'll tell you if your SSD is running at the correct speed.

Your temperatures look a little too high considering your low ambient temperature and your huge CNPS14x heatsink. But then again, the airflow inside your case is also important.

hi JJBandit
Can You change the 850 Evo position make it temperature lower,
SSD throttling issues due to high temperatures.
