Hi there

Now I am not sure of which online stores or regular store you got in your country to buy your new notebook. If you cold give us some sites that you have been looking on (a link to the notebooks), it would help me (perhaps other also) to find the best solution for you :)

Ok

So I did find these models of G74:

http://www.amazon.com/Republic-Gamers-G74SX-AH71-17-3-Inch-Gaming/dp/tech-data/B005UUS6MO/ref=de_a_smtd
In this model I find it good spec'ed for 1 499,- but there is some info that's missing (I think) for that model

http://www.amazon.com/G74SX-XA1-Republic-Gamers-17-3-Inch-Gaming/dp/tech-data/B00592CFFM/ref=de_a_smtd
This model is almost like spec'ed like the first link, but instead of 16 GB RAM it's 12.

About your post, it's a good choice but it only got Full HD 1600 x 900 unless you don't need anymore than that to game on ;) but you get a little better processor in that notebook.

Important point, I think. The 1600x900 panel that Asus uses is not very good. Even if a a potential owner doesn;t feel like they need full HD, I'd recommend avoiding the HD+ panel.

@ Hameli: Whatever other components you opt for, I'd suggest you stick with the full HD display.
