Is there anyone of this forum who plays the game League of Legends and who doesnt suffer from FPS drops?

If not, is there anyone with a ASUS G73SW and with some spare time who dont mind download and try play it.. I would like to know if it works well? It would be nice to know if you also get FPS drops during a game so I know if its my computer or the game. LoL is free and except for all the bugs its fun.. :)

Best regards

I have a g74, and I occasionally get those drops in FPS if i have something intesive running in the back ground. Try updating your drivers, and closing apps down that are intesive. Also, if you are running it, turn off auto desktop-background-changing-thingy. that can cause more issues than help.

I have a g74, and I don't have any FPS issues in LoL or WoW, etc. But the main reason i'm sure is because there may be the possibility of the throttling issue. I solved mine by doing a BIOS edit and flash, but for anyone else I'd say try using Throttlestop and following the directions to see if that clears it up.

I have G53SW-A1 and I also have fps drop.
Usually it runs at 60 fps with vsync on but sometimes it just drop to ~40 from start to the end.
I think its LOL issue.
There are a lot of people getting fps problem (look up on lol forum)

If you don't have 3D on your notebook, I could be a A1 version you got, not sure if there is a A2.... hmm

EDIT: If you bought your notebook online, go to the site where you bought it and post a link to the site with your notebook :)

If not, under your notebook there is a label with info about your notebook (which model and so on) if I'm not wrong :)

Okey, so I got my notebook back from the workshop today, and I'm now going to take a look at LoL and see for FPS drops.... which program do you use to check the FPS in game ?

01-18-2012, 04:57 PM
You can check fps in the upper corner of the game. But the problem have been solved in a patch that came out today. It was as we thought the problem was at Riot games and League of Legends. Everything runs as smooth as ever now.. Glad I didnt send in my computer to Asus.. :)

In my thoughts right now fuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!! (since I don't and haven't played that game before) :P

But I'm glad that the issue got fixed for you :)
There you can see, not always there is a issue with the gaming station, but the game it self :)
