Hello friends,

yesterday i've bought my first gaming laptop!! After a loooong hesitation i've chosen G752VS - BA283T, and as far as i can tell it's was probably the best choice as a desktop replacement. Sadly though there are some issues that comes with a fresh start! Hopefully they will be fixed soon !! :)

Got 45-50C tempatures on idle in windows - (thats a little bit more?). I've checked alot of threads, and i think it might be caused by not updated "Turbo Gear Drivers". Now that's the problem, i can't udpdate it for some strange reason. First of all laptop came with GT752VSK version which i think it wrong since i have just G752VS with HQ processor.. VSK is mark of and unlocked processor isnt it? Anyway, where i can find which version i've got?

When i finally managed to "update it" - gaming center version changed from V.1.0.1 to V.1.0.0! :D And i had latest gaming center (V.1.0.3) from asus drivers :) When i clicked on version 1.0.3 .exe updater it says i have latest version but number didnt changed in gaming center and there are no tempature differences :)

is there another way how to lower these tempatures? On hard load it never goes over 85-90C (CPU) and 85C (GPU), laptop is very quiet even on load its nothing compared to GL702VM that i refunded last week cause of thermal throttling. Which never happened on this laptop even when it gets quite hot!

Any kind soul that would help me with that?

Hello.

Could you please confirm your model number? I did a google search for G752VS-BA283T but there were no results. Just need to confirm exactly what model you have. You can find it on a sticker on the bottom of your laptop right hand side under a UPC bar code.

I have the G752VS-XB72K OC edition that has the I7-6820HK CPU.

The G752VS VSK models have the Core i7-7700HQ CPU. Its a faster CPU than the other G752VS models. The BIOS for the VSK models is different than the non VSK models, but as far as I know, everything else is the same.

My CPU is running with a temperature of 43c in Windows but gamming temperatures will be considerably higher depending on the game.

ROG Gamming Centre 2.0.3 in Extreme mode.
Turbo Gear Version 1.0.6

Once we nail down the model number you have, then we can point you in the right direction.

i am sorry it was G752VS BA289T - we have probably other markings for thoose laptops in Czech Republic than it is on amazon. Hopefully i can post links in here

So what kind of latpop do i have? Now i am totally confused :D and about the installation.. Just click the .exe thingy in archive (Turbo gear update 1.0.3) and it supposed to be intalled after restart? Number 1.0.3 in ROG gaming center under turbo gear update version.

So do u now have Turbo gear 1.0.3 in stalled
on your PC u have an esupport folder , that esupport folder has all the original drivers that came with your new laptop , make a copy of that folder and keep it safe somewhere l.6GB in case u ever need to install the original drivers if u an have issue and NEVER DO A CLEAN INSTALL of W10 or u will have huge issues

Unable to install it. In Gaming center it says that i have 1.0.0 Turbo gear version but if i click on updater 1.0.3 it says that i have latest intalled.. :D i dont get it.. In gaming center left corner i can see that i have G752VSK.. So confusing..

run this program ccleaner free version when opened click on the registry box , then delete all the old registry keys , then try install tubro gear again from the download page of the G752 VS

1.0.0 Turbo Gear is not listed in any of the G752 laptops drivers pages that I can see . I have a G752 VY no issues so far

Cleaned everything with CClenaer and reinstalled new gaming center and performed update with Turbo gear update. its still the same :D V.1.0.0 unable to link an screenshot for some reason cant upload it here... Any other ideas ? :D

find the file in the Esupport folder , install it , see if the version # changes back to the original V.1.0.1

Got that! It's on version 1.0.1 right now. But i think if i try to update it now, it will be at the same point as it was :D 1.0.0 as it happened before.

I did a search of the forums the updater 1.0.3 seems to have some issue that has not been resolved there are more posts like the one below with no resolve , My G752VY has the 1.0.3 updater but I never installed it

Hello, I also have a question regarding the ROG Gaming center, and this seems to be the right thread. I too bought a G752vs model:

The problem is that GPU usage and voltage is not being displayed in the Gaming Center (always 0). What should I try to fix this, and how does one update the gaming center?

Hi KRenga.

First I would try uninstalling the ROG Gaming Center and rebooting, then try installing ROG Gaming Center again, then reboot. Hopefully that will fix your issue.

If it doesn't help, then you might want to try either using system restore in Windows to restore it to a date where the ROG Gaming Center worked properly or restoring your laptop to factory defaults.

Thanks for the suggestion Cool Dude, but unfortunately reinstalling didn't help. As for the other suggestion - it's been like that since I bought it 3 weeks ago. How does one check for updates for the Gaming Center?

Sorry to hear reinstalling didn't help.

One would go to Asus's webpage under support, search for one's model, and then you will see all the drivers\software available for your model.
