if you already seen my The MARS Project you will understand why i can't upload the 3D picture of the case

This is the pattern design for cut out that i've made :
http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/7189/windypola.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/820/windypola.jpg/)
as you can see at this picture is for the backside of the case and the motherboard plate

http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/3436/pola2.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/696/pola2.jpg/)
at this picture you can see the right side is the frame for the case, at first i want to make using 2mm aluminium make some bend and hole on it, but the result is i've decide to making it from the aluminium billet with the size of 20mm x 60mm size and make a hole of it

http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/2057/sketch3a.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/845/sketch3a.jpg/)
this one is for the Drive Bay and the HDD bay, but not final yet, i will make new design for a better improvement

This is the after cut and bend :

for bending and cutting the aluminium i ask my friend whose have the machine to do it, so it will make a precision size and cut....

After that i make a hole for the 120mm fan in front and back using a holesaw with my drill machine
http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/2880/img2012011200058.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/811/img2012011200058.jpg/)

This is will be look like, but still far from finish......
http://img851.imageshack.us/img851/5536/img2012011200063.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/851/img2012011200063.jpg/)

http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/6505/img2012011200066.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/822/img2012011200066.jpg/)

as you can see at the picture below is the frame i've made, the radiator will be mount at this frame and there be a changing plan for the drive bay, i will eliminate it, the spec is i will use a 240mm radiator on TOP side of the case, so the Motherboard will have a cool air from the radiator
http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/653/img2012011200062.jpg (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/846/img2012011200062.jpg/)

This will be the chase feet :

from this picture maybe u will see the chase is too big and empty, it's because i haven't put the real machine into the chase, from my calculation there will be full of stuff in there

here is the spec :
z68 m-ITX Board
GTS 450 dual
i5 2500K
and water cooling parts

that's it for now..... and to be continue :D

Go for it!

I hope Lian Li will make soon a m-itx case that has enough room for 240mm radiator mounting. I am currently using Antec kuhler h2o 620 and it doesn't cool enough good. The problem is the aluminium radiator cannot get rid off the heat enough quickly so 125W is max for this one (CPU hits then 80C). Corsair H100 was nicely cooling Phenom II X6 1090T @ 4.1GHz (cores under 55C) without problems but it wouldn't have fitted in new case without modding and I decided not to tear apart a new case just yet :)
