So noticed my unit which is only a few days old was getting real hot and did some research and everything seemed to point to the voltage applied by the extreme profile. So I tried to update ROG Gaming Center since it said Turbo Gear was only v1.02 (and had read there was a newer version). Anyways it wouldn't let me do a repair on the ROG Center so I removed and reinstalled, only now the drop down for the profile selection is gone and it doesn't tell me Turbo Gear version so screwed the pooch on that one (system restore also fails)

Any thoughts on how to fix Gaming Center and update Turbo Gear?

Also does anyone know what the model panel is on this model? Been trying to lookup reviews but none of them say they are specifically for this model (the 2017 OC Edition), and I'd really like a new profile to try and fix some of the calibration issues (I'd normally just use mine but my SpyderPro is broken and can't spring for a new one). One review (with a different model number) says their unit had an AU Optronics B173HAN01.1 (AUO119D).

I have ASUS G752VY-T7049T had the same problem i used the turbo center from the folder on my laptop then upgraded to 1.0.2 from the site but i get the same 70+on extreme all i do is run fans on 100% using PG/UP its only way i found around it standards fine now but its just came back from asus after a repaste they said 75c-95c is safe hope u get it fixed.

I got the stock turbo gear driver reinstalled. However I still do not have the updated one and it should never get 65C just browsing the web which is what it's doing with by default with this stock voltage on extreme in Turbo Gear. I wouldn't mind that too much if the default was standard mode until I get the extreme mode fixed but it defaults to extreme on boot so I need this fixed.

Yeah mine went back to Asus and got repasted if I use extreme I stick fans on full as it goes into the mid 80s which asus said it’s safe from 75 - 95 runs everything on ultra I play np so I hardly use extreme Only down side from my laptop is the heat should of had a program like afterburner .
