Hello,

I would like to know if there is any way I can upgrade the actual gtx 860m to gtx 880m on my asus rog g750jm laptop.

Thank you in advance!

Hmm. It looks like this may be one of the few Asus G series that actually uses a MXM Card where the GPU is not soldered to the board? I believe thats what the slot is on this to the side of the CPU:

In that case, you would just need to verify the AC adapter and mobo can handle it. Unless there was an exact same chassis that came with a 880M, I would not try it. The power difference between a 860m & an 880m is going to be pretty substantial. But if one was offered in your laptops Chassis, then they probably use the same Heatsink, but no guarantee. Even MXM cards can have different layouts. I would say its a pretty big risk anyway you slice it.
