My friend just bought an ASUS RX480 8G and it has artifacts on the screen as if the memory or GPU is overclocked too high. I talked him through it, and all speed are stockexcept for fan profiles in wattman. I had him bump the fans up 20% for better...
After Clearing and reloading CMOS and Having the up to date BIOS, I still keep getting 0.081v on CPU/NB and even an impossible 0.00v on the CPU/NB . Its impossible, and have tried everything and am at a dead end now. Any ideas?
The Memory and everything is at stock clock. Memory is stock at 8,000MHz. It wont go lower, we tried. We also ramped up the Fan Profile for 2,000-max RPM. It doesnt Artifact until we run Ambient Occlusion.I knwo a lot of people harp on testing games...
Think ASUS is bad? Try GIGABYTE. Their support is non existent. No Tech Support Number and their websites Ticket system doesn't even work. That was enough to ban them for life on all of their products for my company.
