New firmware fixes half the issue. The KVM doesn't disconnect, but when switching inputs, the auto KVM detection doesn't remember what you had the KVM set to. It always switches to USB-B upon switching inputs.

As long as you can calibrate to a peak brightness of 400 nits in games, it shouldn't be blowing out highlights. Highlights are going to be dimmer, but it shouldn't blow them out.

You can rollback the firmware by unplugging the monitor, holding the two buttons to either side of the joystick, and plugging it back in while doing so. Fixes this issue for me until we get a new firmware.

I can confirm that on the release 102 that Auto KVM still doesn't work correctly (toggling HDR swaps it to USB-B when I'm using USB-C). I also found that after updating the firmware to 102 and resetting all settings, it defaults to Gaming HDR instead...
