I'm aware I can do it via armory crate, however i do not want to install bloatware or any unecessary software when competitors can do it straight from BIOS.
@Shamino Can you add an option to set a solid RGB color in BIOS instead of the rainbow puke? Most motherboards have this built into BIOS.. Also (perhaps the most important one to me), please give us an option to disable RAM RGB in BIOS too.
That was the first thing I tried actually, but the issue persists. The only way I was able to update my ME firmware was by using WinPE and running it in there. Thanks for the suggestion anyways
Turns out the CPU that had been working fine on my unify-x died just 2 days after using the APEX. Not sure if it was the APEX that killed it but it is what it is. Back on my 12900K and its fine.
