I just installed and launched AOMEI Partition Assistant and it detects both drives!!!Disk M.2_1 as an unnamed *: disk. Basic GPT etc...Shall I name and format the drive with AOMEI? Any risks that it is not then recognized by W10?

Just tried your advice kens30: no USB drives and optimized defaults in bios: still same results with SM and in DMActually, there were no USB drives connected to begin with.
